On the afternoon of April 4, the naming and launching ceremony of the first 7999DWT bunker tanker of Dayang Offshore Equipment Co., Ltd. was held in Taizhou. Mr. Xun Jinbiao, general manager of the company, delivered a welcome speech. Relevant leaders and guests from the shipowner company Peninsula, China Shipbuilding Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., BV classification society and the design company odely attended the ceremony.

The ceremony began in a warm atmosphere. Ms. Liu named the vessel “Hercules 8000”. According to the international practice, the "bottle throwing ceremony" will be held after the ribbon cutting. With a bottle of champagne smashing the bow of the boat, there was a great applause, then 7999DWT bunker tanker slowly moved down and smoothly launched into the water.
The vessel has a total length of 114.99m, a width of 19.00m, a depth of 10.00m and a design draft of 7.20m. This type of vessel is advanced in design and excellent in performance. It is in line with the latest specifications of BV classification society and the requirements of relevant international conventions. It is a green environmental protection vessel with high total loading rate, flexible loading and unloading, and easy to maintain.
