At 3:28 p.m., March 4, Dayang Offshore Equipment Co., Ltd. welcomed in double bliss: two 6.5k DWT GC steel cutting ceremony and one 2.9k DWT GC keel laying ceremony.
The two 6.5K DWT GC are the first two in total four series vessels, class KR, fly Panama flag, L_oa 101.50m, Breadth moulded 17.00m, Depth moulded 8.60m, Design draught 6.80m, Scantling draught 6.90m, Gross tonnage (International) approx. 4,300, speed 12 knots.
The 2.9K DWT GC is the first one in total three series vessels, class KR, fly Panama flag, Loa 81.00m, Breadth moulded 13.80m, Depth moulded 7.20m, Design draught 5.40m, Scantling draught 5.40m, Gross tonnage (International) approx. 2,550, speed 10.8 knots.The two types of vessels are both great coastal area going cargo ship suitable for carrying general dry cargoes, hot coils and steel plates driven by marine diesel engine. It has the characteristics of diversified loading cargo, high level of automation, green passport and high safety performance.
